Following the High Court order, the state government took an important decision on private school fees in a meeting to be held today. In a press conference today, Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said that parents have been given a relief of 25 per cent less. I.e. 25 per cent fee has been waived. Managers have been persuaded to disagree with 25 per cent. Apart from this do not pay other fees.

Bhupendrasinh Chudasama further said that this decision will be applicable to all boards except Gujarat Board. Private school teachers have to be paid. Not a single teacher can be fired. Fees can be reimbursed if the parents have paid the fee first. Notably, the board of trustees demanded a 50 fee waiver.
Notably, private school administrators showed readiness for a 25 percent fee reduction. The state government had earlier held two meetings with the governing bodies and proposed a 25 per cent fee reduction but the governors did not believe the government had filed a petition in the high court.
