Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 launch date set: All you need to know

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 launch date set: All you need to know

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 are set to launch on August 10 and those who are interested to witness the live event can do the following.

Samsung Electronics has officially announced that it will unveil its latest foldable smartphone series of smartphones by August this year. The tech giant aims at achieving a breakthrough in the stalled smartphone business. The company has placed a banner stating about the launch and those who would be interested to watch the live event can register themselves by filling the basic details, and setting the calander.

The latest next-generation foldable smartphones- Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 are expected to be showcased during the Galaxy Unpacked online event which has been titled, "Unfold Your World," slated for August 10.

The event's teaser promo video was released yesterday (19 July 2022)  which said nothing about the upcoming smartphone's specifications.

The clamshell-style Galaxy Z Flip 4 appears to have a slightly thinner hinge that joins the two halves of the phone than its previous model that came out about a year ago, reports Yonhap news agency.

The new smartphone series will come at a time when the world's largest smartphone maker, like many other consumer devices companies, is facing headwinds from global economic woes that have left consumers with less money to spend on nonessential goods.

Samsung's smartphone shipments are estimated to be around 61 million units in the second quarter, a 16 per cent drop from the previous quarter.

The second-quarter operating profit of the company's smartphone division is forecast to drop $459 million from a year ago to 2.6 trillion won.

According to industry tracker Counterpoint Research, Samsung will dominate the market with a 75 per cent market share until 2023.

A future without clouds? How climate change will affect clouds

A future without clouds? How climate change will affect clouds

Numerous studies and research have revealed various impacts of climate change on humans and animals. But how will the warming temperatures impact clouds? Michael Pritchard, who is a professor of Earth System Science at UC Irvine, said as quoted by Science Daily: "Low clouds could dry up and shrink like the ice sheets. Or they could thicken and become more reflective."

In both scenarios, different future climates can be predicted which is basically part of the problem. "If you ask two different climate models what the future will be like when we add a lot more CO2, you get two very different answers. And the key reason for this is the way clouds are included in climate models," he added.

In the latest report, experts used new computational approaches that help researchers to include cloud physics in global models to probe and find answers to long-standing questions.

Clouds are a crucial part of the atmosphere, they can affect climate. First, they are an essential part of the water cycle. Clouds provide an important link between rain and snow, oceans and lakes, and plants and animals.

Follow these 5 best ways to control high blood pressure, no need for drugs

Follow these 5 best ways to control high blood pressure, no need for drugs

1. Lose extra pounds and watch your waistline

Blood pressure often increases as weight increases. Being overweight can also cause disrupted breathing while you sleep (sleep apnea), which further raises blood pressure.

Weight loss is one of the most effective lifestyle changes for controlling blood pressure. If you're overweight or have obesity, losing even a small amount of weight can help reduce blood pressure. In general, blood pressure might go down by about 1 millimeter of mercury (mm Hg) with each kilogram (about 2.2 pounds) of weight lost.

Also, the size of the waistline is important. Carrying too much weight around the waist can increase the risk of high blood pressure.

In general:

Men are at risk if their waist measurement is greater than 40 inches (102 centimeters).

Women are at risk if their waist measurement is greater than 35 inches (89 centimeters).

These numbers vary among ethnic groups. Ask your health care provider about a healthy waist measurement for you.

2. Exercise regularly

Regular physical activity can lower high blood pressure by about 5 to 8 mm Hg. It's important to keep exercising to keep blood pressure from rising again. As a general goal, aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity every day.

Exercise can also help keep elevated blood pressure from turning into high blood pressure (hypertension). For those who have hypertension, regular physical activity can bring blood pressure down to safer levels.

Some examples of aerobic exercise that can help lower blood pressure include walking, jogging, cycling, swimming or dancing. Another possibility is high-intensity interval training. This type of training involves alternating short bursts of intense activity with periods of lighter activity.

Strength training can also help reduce blood pressure. Aim to include strength training exercises at least two days a week. Talk to a health care provider about developing an exercise program.

3. Eat a healthy diet

Eating a diet rich in whole grains, fruits, vegetables and low-fat dairy products and low in saturated fat and cholesterol can lower high blood pressure by up to 11 mm Hg. Examples of eating plans that can help control blood pressure are the Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) diet and the Mediterranean diet.

Potassium in the diet can lessen the effects of salt (sodium) on blood pressure. The best sources of potassium are foods, such as fruits and vegetables, rather than supplements. Aim for 3,500 to 5,000 mg a day, which might lower blood pressure 4 to 5 mm Hg. Ask your care provider how much potassium you should have.

4. Reduce salt (sodium) in your diet

Even a small reduction of sodium in the diet can improve heart health and reduce high blood pressure by about 5 to 6 mm Hg.

The effect of sodium intake on blood pressure varies among groups of people. In general, limit sodium to 2,300 milligrams (mg) a day or less. However, a lower sodium intake — 1,500 mg a day or less — is ideal for most adults.

To reduce sodium in the diet:

Read food labels. Look for low-sodium versions of foods and beverages.

Eat fewer processed foods. Only a small amount of sodium occurs naturally in foods. Most sodium is added during processing.

Don't add salt. Use herbs or spices to add flavor to food.

Cook. Cooking lets you control the amount of sodium in the food.

5. Limit alcohol

Limiting alcohol to less than one drink a day for women or two drinks a day for men can help lower blood pressure by about 4 mm Hg. One drink equals 12 ounces of beer, 5 ounces of wine or 1.5 ounces of 80-proof liquor.

But drinking too much alcohol can raise blood pressure by several points. It can also reduce the effectiveness of blood pressure medications.

Monkeypox found in kids in US for the first time

Monkey pox found in kids in US for the first time

The two cases are unrelated and are likely the result of household transmission, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said in a statement. The agency said the children are in good health and are being treated.

Cases of the viral disease Monkey pox in the United States have been identified for the first time in children - a toddler in California and an infant who is not a US resident, health authorities said on Friday.

The two cases are unrelated and are likely the result of household transmission, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said in a statement. The agency said the children are in good health and are being treated.

Monkeypox, which causes flu-like symptoms and skin lesions, has been spreading largely in men who have sex with men in the recent outbreak, outside the west and central Africa countries where it is endemic. The disease spreads chiefly through close contact.

So far this year, there have been more than 14,000 cases of Monkeypox in more than 60 countries, and five deaths in Africa.

Speaking on a conference call, Dr. Jennifer MC Quinton, deputy director of the CDC's division of high consequence pathogens and pathology, said it is not a surprise that pediatric cases of Monkeypox have emerged, but "there is no evidence to date that we are seeing this virus spread outside of" the communities of gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men.

She said 99% of the 2,891 Monkey pox cases confirmed in the United States involve men who have sex with men, but there have been a handful of women and transgender men who have become infected.

White House COVID-19 response coordinator Dr. Ashish Jha, speaking on the same call, said the government has delivered 300,000 doses of a Monkey pox vaccine and is working to expedite the shipment from Denmark of 786,000 more doses.

He said there is already enough vaccine on hand to provide a first vaccine dose to more than half of the eligible population in New York City and over 70% of the eligible population in Washington DC.

The fatality rate in previous outbreaks in Africa of the current strain has been around 1%, but so far this outbreak seems to be less lethal in the non-endemic countries. However, a number of patients have reported being hospitalized for severe pain.

Jha said the US is still evaluating whether the Monkeypox outbreak should be declared a public health emergency. "We're looking at that, looking at what are the ways in which the response could be enhanced, if any, by declaring a public health emergency."

The History of YouTube: the beginnings of the biggest video platform in the world

The History of YouTube: the beginnings of the biggest video platform in the world

YouTube is one of the largest and most popular video distribution platforms on the Internet. It has more than 4 billion hours worth of video viewers every month, and an estimated 500 hours of video content are uploaded to YouTube every passing minute.

Since its origins in 2005, YouTube has transformed itself from a showcase for amateur videos to one that distributes original content.

It has also enabled the creation of an entirely new profession — YouTube content creator, which can be a very profitable career for some You Tubers around the world.

What was the original purpose of YouTube?

YouTube was originally created as a platform for anyone to post any video content they desired. It was hoped that users could use the site to upload, share, and view content without restriction.

It has since grown to become one of the foremost video distribution sites in the world. Today, many content creators make a decent living by selling ad space before or on videos they create and upload onto the site

Thanks to things like YouTube's Partner Program and Google's Ad Sense, a few people can actually create successful careers as You Tubers.

YouTube was founded on Valentine's Day in 2005. It was the brainchild of Chad Hurley, Steve Chen, and Jawed Karim, who were all former employees of Pay pal.

The platform, like so many others in Silicon Valley, began as an angel-funded enterprise with makeshift offices in a garage.

According to its founders, the idea was born at a dinner party in San Francisco, about a year earlier, in 2004. The trio was frustrated by how hard it was, at the time, to find and share video clips online.

“Video, we felt, really wasn’t being addressed on the Internet,” said Chad Hurley in an early interview. “People were collecting video clips

on their cell phones … but there was no easy way to share [them].”

In May of 2005, the beta version of YouTube was up on the net, and within a month, the very first video was posted. It was titled, "Me at the Zoo," and was a 19-second long clip posted by Karim himself. The video featured footage of Karim at the San Diego Zoo, talking about elephants and their trunks.

By September of 2005, YouTube had managed to get its first video with one million views. This was a Nike ad that went and gone viral.

This first YouTube viral video was a clip of Brazilian soccer player Ronaldinho receiving a pair of Golden Boots. Nike was also one of the first major companies to embrace YouTube's promotional potential.

The following month, in November of 2005, the venture capital firm Sequoia Capital invested an impressive $3.5 million in the business. Roelof Botha (who also formerly worked for Paypal) joined YouTube's board of directors.

Sequoia and Artis Capital Management invested an additional $8 million, in 2006, as the website saw significant growth in its first few months.

First Human Landing On An Asteroid by 2073, Say Scientists

First Human Landing On An Asteroid by 2073, Say Scientists

The first human space mission to the asteroid belt could take place within 50 years, say rocket engineers, provided humans reach Mars by 2038. Their prediction is based on an economic analysis of the rate at which space budgets increase over time and how humans have increased their sphere of operations since the dawn of the space age.

The goal of Jonathan Jiang at the Jet Propulsion laboratory in Pasadena, and colleagues, was to work out a timeframe over which crewed missions to the asteroid belt, to Jupiter and even to Saturn might take place.

They began by studying how NASA’s budget has increased since it formed in 1958. There have been several peaks in this curve, corresponding to significant increases in spending.

These correspond to 1966 when the Apollo program in which NASA’s budget accounted for about 1 per cent of the US Gross National Product; to 1991 when the agency decided to partner with the private sector to develop a space shuttle replacement; and to 2018 when it embarked on the Artemis program to return humans to the Moon and then send them to Mars.

Technological Progress

The overall trend, however, is of steady linear growth, say Jiang and co.

The team also attempt to measure improvements in technology, since deep space missions rely on the design manufacture and operation of complex hardware and life support systems. They do this simply by counting the number of scientific papers published on deep space exploration in the US per year. “[This] can be used as a proxy to gauge the overall technology level of cutting-edge developments in this complex realm,” say the researchers.

The final factor the team use is the effective radius of human activity beyond Earth. This increased rapidly at the dawn of the space age from low Earth orbit to the first successful moon landing at a distance of 0.0026 Astronomical Units.

The Artemis project will send humans to Mars in about 2037 when the radius of human activity will increase to 0.3763 AU. Assuming this mission is successful, it provides another data point the team can use to project into the future.

Taking all these trends into account allows the team to produce a model that predicts when human missions to distant parts of the solar system will take place. This model earmarks 2073 for a crewed asteroid belt mission, 2103 for humans to visit Jupiter and its satellites as well as 2132 for a mission to Saturn.

Saturn Visit

“The results thus far suggest the worlds of our solar system, throughout human history merely specs of light in the night sky, will soon be within our grasp,” say the team.

Of course, predictions of this kind are bedeviled with uncertainty. Some factors such as sudden climate change could make deep space mission more urgent, while others such as diseases like Covid-19 could dramatically slow progress. Ultimately, economic conditions and national priorities will determine the rate of development.

But the key message from Jiang and co is that these missions could take place in the not-too-distant future. They conclude: “Our model suggests human landings on worlds beyond the Moon and Mars may well be witnessed by many alive today

Today's prayer program

What is prayer? How can we energize ourselves through prayer?

We have said, sung and heard many prayers since childhood. Over time, we developed faith in prayer. Let us strengthen this belief by understanding today - what is the meaning of prayer? What are the benefits of prayer? How to pray to God? To whom should I pray? What should I pray for?

This understanding will lead us to a better life and will also help in the growth of our spiritual journey. Prayer, when done with the right understanding, has a profound effect on our well-being and spiritual growth.

So first of all let us understand what is the meaning of prayer...

  Prayer is communication with God!

It is a conversation with the God within us, or with the image and photo of the God we worship, or with the divine power in which we place our faith.

It's a no-strings-attached connection! Therefore prayer can be done at any time and in any place!

Generally, it is the advice of our elders and gurus that one should offer namaz early in the morning every day. The idea behind praying first thing in the morning is that we consider it very important before starting our daily busy lives. However, if it is not possible to pray in the morning, then there is no harm in it, even if we pray at any time of the day.

Prayer is the act of submitting a request to God!

Param Pujya Dadashri says, 'Prayer' means making supernatural demands from God!

Whenever we need something but can't get it or we need help and need guidance from someone but we don't get it, we pray to God with utmost faith, love and heart and our Prayers are definitely answered!

Our sincere prayer brings all circumstances together.

Due to the effect of vibrations generated by prayer, we get the help of divine powers. There are many gods and goddesses in the universe who are present to help anyone when they ask for help with a sincere heart. Due to the world's indomitable spirit of benevolence to help those who seek the true path, the Gods and Goddesses have created immense merit and hence they are presently present in the form of Goddesses who seek peace and salvation (eternal). Anand) are looking forward to moving forward on the path. ) They always help such mumuks. But we have to ask them! When we go astray on the way, don't we stop a few times to learn that someone has the right path?! The same thing happens in prayer.

A prayer is a specific request made to God:

Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan says, prayer means asking God in the broadest sense! Prayer is seeking the missing energies to help us reach our goals.

  to like,

If our goal is to bring happiness to others, we should read this prayer by heart five times each morning:

"O Lord! May no living being in this world suffer the slightest bit of trouble from my mind, word and body."

And even if someone treats us badly then we should pray to God for the welfare of that person. Instead of trying to change that person, it is better to have good feelings for them.

Prayer plays an important role in one's bad times.

Sometimes, one resorts to prayer to try to change his destiny. For example, if we are suffering from illness, or we are going through bad times, we pray to God to wash away our karma.

So can prayer wash away our bad karma? Let's understand...

You have to suffer many kinds of karma. One kind of karma are those which can be washed away by prayer, the other kind are those which can be washed away by true spiritual effort, and the third kind are those which cannot be changed, no matter how much we Make effort. Man remains free only by enjoyment. This third type of karma is sticky.

In the scriptures, this sticky action is called 'Nikchit' Karma. In which a person has to suffer karma in any case. However, even at this time prayer can provide some relief. That's why praying is so important. Prayer does not help in destroying the karma but provides the needed stability and inner peace at this stage.

Awareness arises from the Moon when we experience painful karma. This is because at that time we pray to the Lord, 'O Lord, save me from these deeds.' Then awareness arises from the moon. God does not give Jagran but by taking His name, awareness is created month after month.

Param Pujya Dada Bhagwan says, “There are so many problems outside, so much despair, it is good to worship. If a person is excessively anxious, and chants loudly, then accordingly the situation calms down. Another reason is that there is no such thing as silent prayer."

Prayer means letting go of your problems and worries

Prayer is an invocation or act that seeks to activate a rapport with an object of worship through deliberate communication. In the narrow sense, the term refers to an act of supplication or intercession directed towards a deity or a deified ancestor. More generally, prayer can also have the purpose of thanksgiving or praise, and in comparative religion is closely associated with more abstract forms of meditation and with charms or spells.

Prayer can take a variety of forms: it can be part of a set liturgy or ritual, and it can be performed alone or in groups. Prayer may take the form of a hymn, incantation, formal creedal statement, or a spontaneous utterance in the praying person.

The act of prayer is attested in written sources as early as 5000 years ago. Today, most major religions involve prayer in one way or another; some ritualize the act, requiring a strict sequence of actions or placing a restriction on who is permitted to pray, while others teach that prayer may be practised spontaneously by anyone at any time.

Scientific studies regarding the use of prayer have mostly concentrated on its effect on the healing of sick or injured people. The efficacy of prayer in faith healing has been evaluated in numerous studies, with contradictory results.

Whenever there is any problem in life, we pray to God. This shows that prayer means surrendering all your problems and worries, surrendering all your plans and illusions to the lotus feet of the Lord.

We pray every day, 'Lord, I have come to you.' If we have taken refuge at the feet of the Lord, then what is the need to worry?'

God always says that one should not worry. Worry is the biggest ego. Anxiety arises only when we assume that 'I can do this' Lord Krishna said, "Why are you worried, Krishna will do all that is necessary." Apart from this, Lord Mahavir has also said that, "You will not be able to change the fruit of your previous birth at all.
